Who We Are, What We Do

We come from cultures fueled by passions: passion for expression, passion for innovation, passion for adventure, and passion for good times. Over the years, a number of talented, creative individuals have both contributed to and documented these passions. From the graphics decorating the bottoms of our favorite boards to the photos we've stared at for hours in our favorite magazines, it's the image makers who have given shape and substance to our stories. They have used paintbrushes to show us what our worlds look like on the other side of the Looking Glass and have focused their lenses on points beyond action and sport to capture the feeling of awe that can exist in a single moment in time.

The effort it takes to produce a picture worthy of hanging on a wall is humbling. Asymbol exists to pay tribute to the creative workhorses who have inspired us by making their imagery available to the world. We specialize in iconic, unforgettable images from the snow, surf, and skate worlds that speak to our hearts, open windows into a deeper experience, dare us to dream, and keep us coming back for more. Our mission is to connect creators with appreciators, to tell the stories behind the images on display, and to make it possible for anyone to attain a high-quality, large-format, limited-edition print of those pieces that move you most.

And since we owe the environment we take from while we reap the rewards of its bounty, a portion of our proceeds will be donated to nonprofit organizations that are working to raise environmental and social awareness and accountability in the action-sports world.

Behind The Scenes

In the universe that is professional snowboarding, Travis Rice is one of the brightest shining stars. This company was born out of Travis' inability to understand why it is that so many of the people who have taken the photos and painted the pictures that have inspired all of us over the years are not living the bling-bling, MTV Cribs good life, with their pieces occupying choice wall spaces in the domiciles of fine-art and outdoor-living appreciators worldwide. His own frustrated search to find such images to adorn the interior of his personal home led him to the conclusion that some sort of bridge needed to be built to connect the highly respected image makers in our world with the people who want to own their work, but have never had a way to do so before. Asymbol is that bridge.

Artist and close friend Mike Parillo provided the spark that ignited the whole Asymbol idea and now provides the man hours that have turned the company into a reality. Parillo serves as creative overseer, working in the production trenches to ensure that every Asymbol print is of the highest, most impeccable quality.

Asymbol is a family affair, proudly based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
